1.5 billion people across the globe are affected by some degree of hearing disability, with more than 30 million in the United States alone that use sign language as their native language.

An inclusive and just learning environment mandates training programs that don’t just meet the required accessibility standards but go a step beyond to make learning just as much of a fulfilling experience as for the learners with hearing impairment as for their hearing counterparts.

To create a comfortable and engaging learning environment for the learners who prefer to use sign language over oral discourse, KS asserts the use of facilitators fluent in sign language and insists on its use in congruence with the verbal dialogue in training sessions, whether in-classroom or virtual.
