Adaptive learning is a practice of delivering learning experiences custom designed to address the unique learning needs of each individual learner.
KS approaches adaptive learning in a three-pronged way— content, succession, and assessment. It is geared with manual as well as algorithms—Bayesian Knowledge Tracing (BKT) and Item Response Theory (IRT) based on descriptive parameters like the discrimination index, difficulty index, and the pseudo guessing parameter. These parameters uniquely define a learner’s journey in ways of just-in-time feedback, branched pathways, resources, and schedules and types of assessment.
