KS evaluation model has a two-pronged approach to the evaluation of any learning program—to improve the learning experience and outcome for the learner and to maximize ROI for the stakeholders.
KS model, thus, evaluates any learning program on four dimensions—Cognitive, Epistemological, Social, and Technical.
The model studies learners’ existing knowledge base and social/geographical/cultural context and examines the content and its applicability in the learner’s context. It further observes the instructional design and learning technology and media as they relate to the learning objectives. Additionally, the KS evaluation model examines the application of social learning to maximize collaborative growth and alignment of individual learning and organizational goals.
