A global provider of virtualization and storage solutions has been providing globally accepted certifications on various subjects including core IT skills and product specific trainings to better support their product globally and increase user acceptance and adoption.
Growing Product lines and ever-increasing customer base required huge base of trained and certified professionals who can globally support the product while the product is in Beta stages and rollout is due within 4-5 weeks. Shortening product lifecycles, rapid changes in technologies and huge volume of trainings required agile training development partners who can quickly ramp-up, adapt and start delivering technically accurate content in a noticeably short development window.
Client has an established and proven process to develop these certification trainings and onboard training development partners. KS client engagement teams have gone through partner onboarding sessions to understand the overall process, SLAs, and success criteria. Having recognized that deep subject understanding with real-life tech implementation experience and interactive development are critical to successful certification curriculum development.
We onboarded internal subject matter experts who were certified of previous/current versions of client/competitor technologies. Our team of Instructional Designers, Technical Writers along with internal SMEs attended client Train the Trainer programs at Authorized Training Centers. SMEs also certified themselves by writing Certified Trainer Certifications. Master SME and Instructional Analyst were positioned at client training team location to consult product owners and clients SMEs to quickly thrash out High Level Design and a detailed Design Document for proposed certification curriculum.
With razor focus on internalizing subject matter expertise KS has started rolling out client technologies for its internal usage and its customers. As a result of such initiatives, on an average KS now develops over 200+ hours of certification led learning content on 10+ technology areas for this client for different delivery mediums including Instructor Led, Virtual Instructor Led, Self-Paced Learning Content, Test Prep Assessment Banks, Virtual Lab Exercises, Job Aids and Reinforcement Solutions.
Client is now not only able to develop more training certification training annually but also leveraging our Subject Matter expertise to onboard and assist other training partners. Additionally, our SMEs are doubling up as Master Instructors to conduct Train the Trainers at Authorized Training centers and conduct customer implementation trainings.
