Our client is one of the top universities in the USA with more 25000-student spread across different campuses in the US. They provide a variety of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programs and vocational certifications in Business Management. When Covid-19 struck, their brick-and-mortar model fell apart and they were struggling on various counts. Having realized the urgency, one of the toughest challenges for this client was to quickly take their curriculum into the online mode to cater to over 25000+ students.
Knowledge Synonyms Learning Infrastructure Experts consulted the client and recommend them to implement a ready-to-use Learning Experience Platform. The entire platform rollout took about four weeks. Post the implementation, the KS Learning Content Team analyzed the client’s whole curriculum and adapted it to existing templates and page types in the platform.
Across various programs, over 1000+ weeks of curriculum was migrated with required instructional and visual interventions. Various resources like Videos, Audio Podcasts, Documents, Surveys, Assessments, Feedback, etc. were all moved in a record period of five months to help them be ready before their next academic session.
To avoid any disruption in existing students’ records and their academic performance, extracting data from various existing systems and sheets was extremely critical and challenging. To address the challenge, the KS team automated various processes by writing middleware to pull in data from various sources including Faculty Scheduling System, Student Enrollment System, Learning Delivery, and Student Performance System, etc. and make newly implemented LXP as their single source of truth.
Faculties can now author, upload, and teach their classes with ease.
Students have got a truly responsive experience with various touchpoints during their academic journey.
The university is expanding its wings in different countries and enrolling more students in their proven programs as dependence on brick-and-mortar campus is no more a consideration.
