Our client is one of the major logistics companies in the world with separate divisions for air, land, sea freight, and Contract Logistics.
Growing competition and other business challenges provided the impetus to improve business processes, business visibility, address government regulations and international laws, and enable a better customer experience. To this end, they decided to implement Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) cloud.
The implementation and rollout of all Oracle SCM Cloud modules—Planning Central, Order Management, Global Order Promising, Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchasing, Procurement Contracts, Product Hub, and Supplier Portal took around 1.5 years. The program was customized to suit the client’s workflow.
KS SCM SMEs and Performance Experts worked with the client to understand the customer-specific workflows, use cases, performance gaps, and learning requirements. Basis the analysis, we engaged eight Master Instructors specialized in different modules of Oracle SCM spread across 4 countries.
Standard Oracle SCM training content was purchased from various sources and adapted for client implementation and associated workflow use cases by the KS SMEs cum Master Instructors and Performance Experts. Job Aids, Task Demos, and Virtual lab exercises & assessments were created to supplement the training delivery.
Once the content was ready, KS Master Instructors were tasked to conduct Train the Trainers (TTT) session to develop a team of Master Instructors to complete the rollout. The client had only 12 in-house instructors, hence, to fulfill the shortfall, KS screened and empaneled 30+ instructors from our vendor partners in different countries. 3-day ILT/ ViLT-based 60+ TTT Sessions and Boot Camps were conducted in 8 different cohorts.
Post TTT rollout, KS oversaw the full rollout of this training in 16 different countries, wherein we managed venues, class schedules, and instructors; moderated virtual classrooms; and organized physical classrooms. We also reported class delivery performance to client stakeholders by weekly Learner Performance MIS, Instructor Feedback, Monthly Budget Spend, and Class Quality Tracking.
Development to full training roll-out was achieved in 8 months ensuring their workforce was ready 2 months before the full implementation of Oracle SCM in the company.
