Knowledge Synonym’s client is a multinational contract research organization. The client specializes in helping companies with pre and post-clinical stage trials. The organization works with their customers who are leading pharma companies in conducting clinical trials Phase 1 through Phase 4.

It has been found through various internal studies that researchers and investigators were finding it cumbersome and time-consuming to analyze heaps of clinical trial records scattered across different systems and locations and report their findings during the clinical trial process.

Clinical trials are vital in the drug discovery process, so combating the challenges associated with the process is extremely vital.

KS Solution

KS proposed an immersive gamified learning experience solution that mirrors the actual documentation process.

KS provided virtual rooms, shelves, binders, etc. to replicate real-time clinical record maintenance and document access. Features like multi-layered documentation with notes and query utility allowed researchers to compare documents and note their findings. The platform also provided searchable notes and queries.

History maintenance of opened documents like window-based access with taskbar helped researchers to keep a track of work in progress. Online access to local machine documents was also provided to enable researchers to bring their own documents if those were not present in the system yet.

Time-based document access for noting was enabled to help researchers record their time taken against each document and work towards improving on it. This feature proved extremely useful in the case of subjective documents.
